Refund Policy

At AHB, customer satisfaction is our top priority. Our team is fully committed to guiding you toward the best furniture and home solutions for your needs. If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, we are here to help with a clear, fair, and transparent return and refund process that strictly aligns with official consumer protection guidelines.

1. Order Cancellation Window

We work efficiently to process and dispatch orders as quickly as possible (typically within 1-2 business days, excluding weekends and holidays).

  • Cancellation Before Shipment: If you change your mind, please contact us at tom@ahbhom.com within the same day of placing your order. If the order has not yet been processed by our logistics network, we will stop the shipment and issue a 100% full refund immediately. Please provide your order number and recipient name for faster processing.

  • Cancellation After Shipment: Once an order has left our warehouse, it cannot be canceled in transit. If you still wish to reject the package upon delivery, it will be treated as a standard return under our Customer Remorse Policy (see Section 3 for applicable freight and restocking fees).

2. 30-Day Return Window & Eligibility

You have the right to request a return within 30 calendar days from the date your delivery carrier marks the package as delivered.

To qualify for an authorized return, the item must meet the following strict verification criteria:

  1. The item must be brand new, unused, un-assembled, and in its original pristine condition.

  2. The item must be securely packed in its original manufacturer packaging with all hardware, accessories, and instruction manuals included.

  3. You must contact us first to receive an official Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and the correct return warehouse routing label before shipping any items back. Unreported returns sent without an RMA will not be recognized or processed.

3. Return Shipping Costs & Restocking Fees

In full compliance with Google Merchant Center’s transparency standards, return costs and fees are explicitly defined by the reason for the return:

For items that arrive damaged, defective, or incorrect, AHB will cover the return shipping cost and no restocking fee will be charged. For returns due to customer remorse, including wrong size ordered, changed mind, or unmet aesthetic expectations, the buyer is responsible for the return shipping cost directly through the carrier, and a 25% restocking fee will apply based on the purchase price.

Important Financial Notice on Customer Remorse: For oversized home furniture and heavy workshop equipment, return shipping costs can be substantial. For returns driven entirely by personal preferences (non-quality issues), the buyer is responsible for arranging and paying the return freight carrier, and a 25% restocking fee will be deducted from the final refund to cover warehouse inspection and product devaluation.

To avoid hidden fees, please ensure that this 25% restocking fee requirement is explicitly understood prior to your purchase. This policy is systematically synchronized with our GMC Merchant profile data.

4. Shipping Damage Reporting (24-Hour Window)

While you have 30 days for general returns, if your package arrives with visible physical damage inflicted by the logistics carrier, we highly recommend contacting us at tom@ahbhom.com within 24 hours of delivery.

  • Please take clear high-resolution photos or a short video demonstrating:

    1. The damage to the product itself.

    2. The condition of the outer shipping box.

    3. The external carrier shipping labels.

  • Providing this immediate evidence allows our team to instantly fast-track a free replacement or full refund, and enables us to file a timely claim with FedEx/UPS/Freight carriers.

5. Step-by-Step Return Process

  • Step 1: Email tom@ahbhom.com with your order details, reason for return, and qualifying photos of the unopened item.
  • Step 2: Our team will review your request within 1 business day and issue your custom RMA number along with the designated US Fulfillment Center Return Address (Do not ship to our administrative corporate address).
  • Step 3: Ship the item back using a traceable carrier of your choice. We cannot provide prepaid shipping labels for remorse returns. Share the new tracking number with us.

6. Inspection & Refund Timeline

Once your return shipment is received and undergoes a quality assurance inspection at our US fulfillment warehouse, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

  • Approved Returns: The refund will be automatically processed, and a credit will be applied to your original method of payment.

  • Processing Delay: Please note that once we initiate the refund in our system, it typically takes your financial institution 3 to 7 business days to clear the transaction and credit your bank or credit card balance.
