The table was shipped and arrived very quickly. I selected this model over others available on Amazon because the railing is 4.5" as compared to 3" with most others. The railing is large enough to fit game components and the removable trays can do that as well.
I was initially concerned that the play area may not be big enough to accommodate larger games however, I can confirm that it can handle games as large as Scythe (with play area) and Ark Nova (in "dining room table mode"). The vinyl table mat it comes with is not the greatest quality but works. You can use an iron (in low temperature) in case it s not completely flat. I replaced the mat by cutting a 53.5'' x 30'' plywood and adding foam+speed cloth (as depicted in image) to give the table a very nice look. The assembly is easy if you have used a drill before :-)
One recommendation I have on the assembly process is to make sure the legs are tight and put on correctly. The play area is assembled after the legs are put on and you will not have access to the legs hardware to tighten or make adjustments after the play area is built.
The customer service was prompt and very helpful as well. Overall I am very satisfied with this purchase and it cost a fraction of the fancy name tables. Thank you!

Very nice item for the price. Well made and multi functional.

It is fine and serviceable. However, I think the design of table is silly, because there are basically a bunch of screws holding the bottom of the table to the base -- instead of letting gravity hold the table on ridges. I may be reading the instructions wrong, but I don't think I am.

This table is worth every Dollar!!!!! It took about 1-2 hours to build it and honestly that seems like a reasonable amount of time for a sturdy table like this one. Some pieces took a little more time to figure out what way the boards needed to face to install them properly but once we figured it out it was smooth sailing to put the rest of it together. This is not some cheap quality wood it is dense and very heavy. This is definitely built to last a long time. The dark wood stain looks absolutely gorgeous. This tables functionality is also top tier ??not only can you comfortably seat 6 people at this table for dinner but you can also enjoy a game of D&D with plenty of room for all your players. This table can do it all with 6 trays and 6 cup holders to meet all of your needs. I can garuntee that you'll be making memories with family and friends for many years too come I know I certainly will.

Sturdy!! It feels like real furniture not the flimsy thin stuff that's been mass produced and the price for this game table with all its accessories compared to other retailers is crazy!!
